BOYNTON BEACH, FL (WFLX) - A woman is dead and one person is in custody after a home invasion in Boynton Beach Thursday night.
Lissa Moody, 60, died at Delray Medical Center overnight after, police say, she and her husband, Chris Moody, 52, were stabbed by an intruder.
Police were called to their home at 103 Azalea Circle at 8:15 p.m.
The suspect was apprehended by a K9 officer and his dog, Daxxx, according to Boynton Beach police spokesperson Stephanie Slater.
The suspect, who has not been named, is currently being interviewed by detectives. He told police he is homeless and has been living in a homeless camp in the woods near the victims' house, Slater said.
Chris Moody is still at Delray Medical Center in stable condition.
