Students hospitalized after SUV t-bones school bus By Rachel Leigh | March 5, 2013 at 2:06 PM EST - Updated June 30 at 2:00 PM SUBURBAN WEST PALM BEACH, FL (WFLX) - Two students were hospitalized Tuesday morning after a vehicle t-boned a school bus in suburban West Palm Beach. The crash occurred on Southern Boulevard and Jog Road. Palm Beach County Rescue units were called to the scene of the crash at 7:35am. The vehicle is a sports utility vehicle. The bus received significant damage to its side. The driver of the SUV is being cited for running a red light, which caused the crash, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office. The two kids -- a boy and a girl -- are between the ages of seven and nine. According to PBSO, they were treated at Palms West Hospital and are not injured. They are both students from Everglades Elementary. Officials say the bus was hit by the SUV as it was traveling to Everglades Elementary. Copyright 2013 WFLX. All Rights Reserved.
