(WFLX) - Should Florida offer marriage advice? That's what some lawmakers are pushing for.
Right now, a bill proposed in the state legislature would create a "marriage handbook" that would be given to couples when they apply for a marriage license. The state already hands out advice about divorce.
The bill's sponsor hopes the plan would combat Florida's higher-than-average divorce rates. The measure passed in committee Wednesday.
