NORTH PALM BEACH, FL (WFLX) - Jeffery Lynn Isaac, who is listed as the CEO of the Gulf Stream Council Boy Scouts of America, was arrested after a crash in North Palm Beach Monday and charged with a DUI.
When officers arrived around 6:30 p.m., they found Isaac sitting in his driver's seat with his engine running, confused and asking if he had been involved in a crash, according to the arrest report.
Police said Isaac, of Palm Beach Gardens, exhibited slurred speech and was falling asleep, swaying and staggering as he attempted to stand.
According to the Gulf Stream Council's Web site, more than 2,800 adult volunteers and less than 25 full-time staff members oversee the scouting program in the Gulf Stream Council which serves seven districts, including Palm Beach, Martin, St Lucie, Indian River, Okeechobee, Glades and Hendry counties in southeast Florida.
