PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (WFLX) - Parents of Palm Beach County students expect dismissal delays due to weather. School bus transportation could be delayed, as well.
Meanwhile, school authorities canceled classes Wednesday at Park Vista High School in Palm Beach County due to flooding.
Reports say the school itself is not flooded, but the surrounding roads are.
There is standing water at Northtree Boulevard and Jog Road and it's part of the reason the school is shut for the day.
One vehicle became stuck in the high water and others are creating a wake as drivers travel through the area.
There is also flooding at a separate entrance to Park Vista.
