NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
Police say a 44-year-old man from Nashville used a social media website to lure young girls for sex.
He lived in a nice house, and neighbors say they never had any problems with him. But inside his Goodwin Court home, Metro police say Stephen Creasy led a far different life.
He was taken into custody on Monday at a home on Montchanin Terrace in Old Hickory, according to Metro police.
Creasy is accused of using a profile page on the website Tagged.com to lure at least four victims - two underage girls from Nashville and two others from Kentucky.
Police said the underage girls were representing themselves to be 16 or 17 when they were actually much younger, and the youngest girl targeted was just 11 years old.
The suspect said he was 24, but was actually 44, said investigators.
In one alleged exchange on the site, police said Creasy acknowledged his victim was 16 then asked if he can come by to pick her up for sex. The victim then said she's having car trouble, so police said Creasy asked the victim to undress while using Skype. And it seems the victim followed the instructions.
No one answered the door when Channel 4 News stopped by the home police list as Creasy's address, but we decided to do some exploring on the website where Creasy allegedly met the girls.
Tagged.com looks like it's made for adults, and is a mixture between online dating and Facebook.
The website helps users meet perfect strangers, but instead of "friends," users are referred to as "pets." And instead of hitting a "like" button, here users click a "buy" button.
A quick search shows dozens of young kids using profiles.
Police say in Creasy's case, he allegedly tried to meet up with each girl in person, but each of those attempts failed.
Creasy faces nine charges, including four felonies for solicitation of statutory rape, and he was jailed on $200,000 bond.
