More Scattered Downpours This Week

Posted: Updated:

Flash Flood Warning Set to Expire:  Two flash flood warnings are in effect tonight.  One is set to expire at 11pm and the counties impacted are Franklin, Stephens, Oconee, Pickens and Greenville.  The flash flood warning for central Anderson county expires at midnight.

Never Ending Pattern or What?:  "Relentless" and "never ending" are two ways to describe how the current state of our weather pattern feels.

On Monday, we'll have yet another good chance of scattered storms.  These storms will produce downpours in some areas while other areas won't see much rain.  A burst of 1-2" of rain is possible underneath any storm that develops.

Otherwise, expect a mostly cloudy sky with humid conditions.  Temperatures will range between 84° and 87° in the Upstate with upper 70s and low 80s in Western NC.

Tuesday & Wednesday:  At this point, it looks as if we'll still have scattered downpours, but those will be less numerous on Tuesday and Wednesday.  However, that could very easily change.  Fast-moving upper-level winds will be close enough to us and high, surface humidity will still trigger pockets of rain.

Stay with us throughout the week as we may deal with more flash flooding.  We'll keep you up-to-date.
