$25,000 reward now offered in Boynton Beach jewelry heist

BOYNTON BEACH, FL (WFLX)--The community is being asked to help Boynton Beach police solve a multi-million dollar jewelry heist.

Two men are accused of taking about $3 million dollars in jewelry and watches from a Boynton Beach home Sunday July 28th, according to police.

Officers were dispatched to the home after an alarm sounded.

Police say they found an open sliding glass door in the rear of the home.

The department released surveillance video of the two men and a suspected getaway car.

Now police are asking for the public's help in the hope someone recognizes the men or their vehicle.

Crime Stoppers of Palm Beach County is offering a reward of $1,000 and an additional $25,000 reward has been added for the arrest of the suspects.

Boynton Beach police say the the stolen items consisted of years and years of sentimental collectable pieces which can never be replaced.
