Body, migrants found on Palm Beach

PALM BEACH, FL (WFLX) - Three undocumented Haitian migrants have been taken into custody; a fourth person was found dead washed up on the beach Wednesday morning on Palm Beach.

The migrants, who are all in good health, were identified as one juvenile, one male and one female.  Border patrol said the body is a girl believed to be about 14 to 16 years old but have not confirmed that she is connected to the migrants.

Palm Beach Police Department, U.S. Customs officials and Border Patrol officers are on scene.

Border Patrol is currently conducting ground, marine and air search of the area with local and federal authorities. Bahamian officials have been contacted to be on the lookout for suspicious vessels.

The migrants came ashore near Angler Avenue and North Ocean Boulevard in Palm Beach where the body was discovered nearby.
