An Evansville man is out of jail on bond after police busted him with more than a million dollars worth of pot Wednesday afternoon.

Indiana State Police searched 50-year-old Mark Hunt's home in the 3500 block of Schmitt Lane and found more than 1,500 cultivated marijuana plants inside the home and in the backyard.

Troopers say they spotted marijuana plants that were over 6 feet tall in the backyard while driving by the home.
Officers also found more than 300 grams of marijuana that was packaged and ready for delivery.

Troopers say the marijuana plants had a street value of approximately $1.5 million.
He is facing a long list of felony charges.
Hunt was released from jail Thursday morning on $1,000 cash bond.
He is due in court September 4 at 9:30 a.m.
