Martin County deputies capture 10-foot python

MARTIN COUNTY, FL (WFLX)--A  unique apprehension Tuesday morning by Martin County Sheriff deputies.

A 10 foot Albino Burmese Python is  captured in a Port Salerno neighborhood.

Around 7 Tuesday morning, a woman spotted the snake curled up in a row of hedges by the side of her home.

The snake is not poisonous.  It had just eaten  2 cats.

The snake was taken by Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission to the Busch Wildlife Sanctuary in Jupiter.
