Cost of milk could double due to shutdown

(WFLX) - The stalemate in Washington could mean higher grocery prices.

The latest farm bill expired when the government shutdown Monday. If lawmakers don't act soon, you could see higher prices for things like milk, cheese and butter.

One New York agriculture representative says that means the price for milk may double in the coming months from $3 to $6 per gallon.
