(WFLX) - A Florida teen, charged in the suicide death of Rebecca Sedwick, will stay locked up.
A judge denied a request by the 14-year-old girl's lawyer; they wanted her to be released to home detention.
The teen is accused of posting an online confession that she bullied Sedwick to death and didn't care she took her own life.
Her mother was arrested last week on unrealted child abuse charges. Another 12-year-old girl is also facing charges in the bullying case.
