PALM BEACH COUNTRY ESTATES, FL (WFLX) - Out of state search crews have been told to stand down as detectives continue investigating the disappearance of Kimberly Lindsey.
Texas EquuSearch has been told to delay their flights to South Florida until investigators are able to identify the body of a female found in Hendry County.
At the same time, posters are going up outside Lindsey's home. They ask anyone with information about her disappearance to call authorities.
At Bak Middle School, where Lindsey is a nurse, yellow ribbons have gone up to show support. When she didn't show up for work Monday her coworker called police.
Lindsey's family said Thursday her disappearance is out of character. They begged anyone with information to come forward.
Crime scene detectives showed up at the Lindsey home late Thursday night. They were seen coming and going, but did not reveal why.
A gathering is being organized Friday at six thirty to show support for Lindsey's family. It will be at the 911 memorial in Palm Beach Gardens and the public is invited.
