PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL (WFLX) - The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office has released more information into their investigation into the murder of Bak Middle School nurse Kimberly Lindsey.

A 68-page report spells out everything investigators did from the moment Lindsey was reported missing -- all the way up until her ex-husband, Albert Lambert, was found dead in Miami.

One thing that's clear from the report is the investigation was centered around Lambert from the very beginning.

Among the details we've uncovered so far:

When deputies saw Lambert's sister and her husband carrying his body out of his Miami home and rushed over to help -- deputies said the sister yelled out, "They are the police -- don't tell them anything!" the report states.

Investigators say Lambert had a series of girlfriends and all of them were nurses. Kimberly also had a boyfriend who lived in Seattle.

None of them told deputies they suspected Lambert would ever kill his ex-wife.

The medical examiner told detectives that Kimberly Lindsey died from a gunshot wound to the heart.

Investigators say in the reports that Lambert's older daughters hadn't talked with their dad in nearly a year -- and were surprised to learn that their dad had bought a gun.

The sheriff's office was told on Wednesday, Oct. 30, about a headless body found in Hendry County, one day before Kimberly's daughters held a press conference pleading the public to help them find their mom.
