Update: Maggie May is now in her forever home, but don't forget about her furry friends still up for adoption at Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League.
Meet our Pet of the Week Maggie May. She's an 8-year-old German Shepherd mix who is up for adoption at the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League.
Here's a special message from Maggie May:
"Ruff ruff, my name is Maggie May and you would not know it but I'm eight years old and full of spunk. I got lost from my home and found my way to Peggy Adams. I'm very easy going, friendly and a people pleaser. I love attention and will give you years of wonderful companionship. I have such a soft coat of beautiful brindle hair and love a good back scratch. I love walks, but have a slight pull on my leash so I'd love to attend the training classes at Peggy Adams on Saturdays - they're FREE! And since I'm over five years old, I qualify for the shelter's Senior to Senior program. If you 55 or older, so do you! My adoption fee would be waived and all you pay for is my rabies tag."
