WPB Social Security Office reopens after air quality complaints

WEST PALM BEACH, FL (WFLX) - The Social Security Office on Congress Avenue in West Palm Beach has reopened. This comes nearly 10 months after employees complained of possible air quality issues.

The building has been closed since February for repairs, according to people with the office, but more than 20 workers joined together to file a lawsuit against property owners because, they say, the building was making them sick.

Attorneys claimed the building was a health hazard.
