ORLANDO, FL (WFLX) - A newborn baby is being treated at an Orlando hospital after being found wrapped in newspaper outside a Central Florida convenience store.
Meantime, the man who said he discovered the newborn was arrested after detectives say he was the one trying to find a place to leave the infant.
Ralph Garlick Jr. had told police he found the baby girl crying and wrapped in newspaper.
The mother of the child has been located and identified as Garlick's girlfriend. Police say she gave birth just hours earlier to the little girl.
