MIAMI (WFLX) - The familiar bell-ringing brought more than just coins to the red kettle.
The Salvation Army says someone dropped in a diamond ring! This is the fourth year in a row a ring has been donated.
The ring, valued at $3,500, has a note attached stating: "Please continue your good work caring for the needy in God's name".
The Salvation Army says it hopes to auction off the ring to get the highest bidder to help serve as many people as possible.
