Dogs to be euthanized after injuring child

(WFLX) - Two dogs are being kept at animal care and control after a young boy was injured not once, but twice.

Two dogs were surrendered by their owner in the Acreage. We're told the two mix breeds were not in their yard Tuesday morning when they bit the boy in the 14000 block of 75th Lane North.

The boy had some bite marks on his leg. The other incident happened in October when the boy was at a neighbor's house and was bitten by one of the dogs.

The owners were fined. "The owner was cited for violations of the dogs running at large today [Monday], other than that they were current on shots and tags because we had addressed that two months ago."

The dogs will be quarantined for 10 days then euthanized.
