TAMPA, FL (WFLX) - The retired police officer, accused of killing a father inside a Tampa movie theater, will stay behind bars.

A judge has ordered 71-year-old Curtis Reeves be held without bond. This as we learn new information about the victim.

Police say 43-year-old Chad Oulson was texting his daughter's babysitter when the confrontation broke out. An arrest affidavit states Reeves was in fear of being attacked.

The victim's wife, Nicole, is also recovering from a gunshot wound to the hand. Police say, she was trying to shield her husband.

Meanwhile, a woman has come forward saying she had a run-in with Reeves at the same theatre two weeks ago.

Jamira Dixon said he threatened her after he saw her texting before a movie. "He became just upset about the whole situation and kept staring and kept giving us dirty looks."

The woman says she was driving when she heard the news of the theater shooting. She had to pull over thinking it could have been her who was killed.
