MIAMI (WFLX) - Miami Dolphins player Jonathan Martin says he left the team last year because of coments made in the locker room that made him uncomfortable.
In an exclusive interview with NBC Sports, Martin said, players made racial and sexual comments.
Martin did say the comments were just made by teammate Richie Incognito. Incognito was suspended from the team shortly after Martin left the team. "It was more than one. You know, I think, it was the culture. I don't think there's a place to disrespect people in a professional sport. You know, offensive linemen are, you know, like a brotherhood," said Martin. "I had some conversations with my coaches immediately above me. I didn't get into specifics. You're not supposed to, you know, 'snitch' on your teammates."
The results of the NFL investigation about the scandal is expected to be released after the Super Bowl.
Martin says he has not spoken to any with the organization since he left. He says wants to play in the NFL again.
