Lockdown lifted after no bomb found at Boca school

BOCA RATON, FL (WFLX) - Students at Zale Pre-School, part of the Donna Klein Jewish Academy, have been allowed back in school after sheriff deputies searched the school and did not find a bomb, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.

Update, FRI 3 PM: The school had been evacuated after it received an e-mail indicating the presence of a bomb, according to Eric Davis, spokesman for the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.

PBSO K-9 bomb dogs and a bomb team searched the premises and found no bomb at the school located at 9701 Donna Klein Boulevard in Boca Raton, Davis said.

Previously: Donna Klein Jewish Academy in Boca Raton is on lockdown after the school received an e-mail stating there was a bomb in the school, said Eric Davis, spokesman for Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.

Davis said the e-mail was sent to the school late Thursday night and was not read until Friday.
