Three injured in rollover crash involving PBSO deputy

WEST PALM BEACH, FL (WFLX) - Three people were injured after a rollover accident involving a Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office vehicle in suburban West Palm Beach.

The accident happened around 4 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Kirk Road and Summit Boulevard.

Police say three cars were involved in the crash, including a sheriff's office cruiser that ended up on its roof.

Three patients were transported to an area hospital  for treatment. Their injuries are not believed to be serious.

The deputy driving the marked unit had a K9 which was not hurt.

Traffic investigators are currently interviewing witnesses to determine who was at fault.

At this time, westbound Summit Boulevard and northbound Kirk Avenue are closed. Your northbound alternate routes are Military Trail or Congress Avenue and your westbound alterate routes are Forest Hill Boulevard or Southern Boulevard.
