Port St. Lucie Police raid marijuana grow house

PORT ST. LUCIE, FL (WFLX)-- Two people have been arrested by Port St. Lucie police on charges that they were operating a grow house in the 400 block of SE Justine Terrace.

Vladimir Torres and Lazaro Torres are currently in custody after police executed a search warrant at their home.

Police say that they found a sophisticated marijuana grow operation in the garage.

Detectives found 21 plants, over 25 pounds of weed and cultivation equipment.

Vladimir and Lazaro have been charged with trafficking in marijuana, cultivation of marijuana over 20 grams and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

Both men were booked into the St. Lucie County Jail.
