Couple allegedly funded lavish lifestyle with gov't funds

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (WFLX) - A husband and wife are arrested in South Florida. They are accused of living lavishly on your dime.

Colin and Andrea Chisholm faced a judge in Fort Lauderdale Tuesday. The couple is accused of welfare fraud.

They allegedly collected more than $165,000 from programs designed for poor and needy -- all while they owned a yacht, lived in a waterfront home, and, supposedly, had millions in the bank.

"The pictures are here; there's the yacht. I've never ridden in a yacht that nice."

The couple were arrested in Fort Lauderdale after being deported from the Bahamas because their visas expired.
