WEST PALM BEACH, FL (WFLX) - A Maryland-based company is moving its headquarters, along with 40 jobs, to West Palm Beach, according to Mayor Jeri Muoio.

The mayor says Automatic Finance, which leases auto insurance, is moving to the city's Flagler Financial District on Evernia Street.

Chris Roog, West Palm Beach's economic development director, says the company pays employees $54,000 a year on average.

The city will pay the company $24,000 over five years as part of the deal, according to Mayor Muoio.

Enterprise Florida will pay the company $94,000 for the company to move to West Palm Beach.

Enterprise Florida is a collaboration of businesses and governments that work to bring jobs to the state.
