Two people pulled from a vehicle in a canal in Delray Beach

DELRAY BEACH, FL (WFLX) - Two people were pulled from a vehicle that went into a canal in Delray Beach Tuesday.

Officials say a passerby on a personal watercraft was able to rescue one of the occupants.

Delray Beach Fire Rescue was dispatched to the scene and sent divers into the water. 

The second occupant was removed from the vehicle and transported in critical condition to a hospital.

Investigators have not yet identified the driver and passenger.

The incident happened near Lake Ida Dog Park at 1455 Lake Ida Road.
