Data errors could affect more than two million people under Affordable Care Act

Posted:

(WFLX) - The  U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has revealed that some data errors could affect more than two million people insured under the Affordable Care Act. Officials are saying this translates to about one-in-four people who signed up have discrepancies.

The White House Administration says these errors could lead to people having to pay back the government if they receieved too much aid or even loss of coverage altogether. Right now, U.S. House and Senate lawmakers say they plan to hold hearings next week on the data issues.
