Jupiter woman could be facing death penalty

JUPITER, FL (WFLX) - The Jupiter woman who's accused of killing a 2-year-old girl and trying to murder her 10-year-old brother could be facing the death penalty if convicted.

Kimberly Lucas has been indicted on charges of first degree murder, attempted first degree murder and child abuse. Police say Lucas killed Elliana Lucas-Jamason at a Jupiter home before trying to take her own life.

Lucas is the former domestic partner of the children's mother.
