PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (WFLX) - A new federal study out says teenagers in Palm Beach County rank high on the list when it comes to risky behavior. The study found these teens smoke and binge drink more than those in many other large counties.
It also says, Palm Beach County teens use the drug ecstasy on a level that's more than twice the national average. When compared with Broward and Miami-Dade Counties, Palm Beach County teens ranked highest with more than 13 percent saying they were forced to have sex.
They also led teens in the three county area when it came to dating violence, smoking and binge drinking. This youth risk behavior study by the Centers for Disease Control examined high school students over the last two years.
