School gets new name after decade long battle

JACKSONVILLE, FL (WFLX) - A high school in Jacksonville is getting a new name. A petition was started to change the name of Nathan B. Forrest High School, named after a co-founder of the Ku Klux Klan.

After a decade long debate the Duval County School Board has agreed to switch the name to Westside High.
