WEST PALM BEACH, FL (WFLX) - This week when you head to work, there will be several new laws you will need to follow.
Starting Tuesday, a new law will go into effect making sure buses are preventing backups on the roadways when possible. This law calls for buses to use "reasonable means" to not block traffic when loading and unloading passengers.
The law says if a bus has the ability to load or unload passengers out of the way of traffic, they have to use it. This does not apply to school buses.
The goal is to keep traffic moving, and is one of several new laws going on the books Tuesday.
