Mother speaks out after children attacked by pit bulls

LANTANA, FL (WFLX) - A neighborhood party in Lantana turns into a nightmare for parent Aline Jeancharles after her two daugthers and son were attacked and bitten by a group of pitbulls. "The dog bite her everywhere. In her face, in her back and toes and feet, hand, everywhere. So when I look at my daughter, I feel so bad," said mother Aline Jeancharles.

Aline is talking about her 7-year-old daugther, Mitalo, whose injuries are the worst. While the little girls's brother and sister are back at home, the bites on mitalo are so severe she's getting skingraphs.

"She said mommy, I have a lot of pain. You think I'm going to be okay? I tell her, okay. God knows you'll be okay. She was crying."

Investigators say the owner of the pit bulls surrendered the dogs to animal care and control. He faces nearly $1,000 in code violations. The dogs will most likely be put down.

Aline says she's not angry with the owners or the dogs saying awful things happen. Her focus is on little Mitalo. "I just want my daughter to be okay."
