Elderly WPB woman attacked by rottweilers

WEST PALM BEACH, FL (WFLX) - An elderly West Palm Beach woman is recovering after she was bitten by two rottweilers while she was watching her husband mow the lawn. The two rottweilers were brought to Animal Care and Control as the woman was rushed to the hospital for bite marks on her head.

According to Animal Care and Control, the dog attack happened Wednesday morning on Lyman Place in West Palm Beach. A lawn landscaper was cutting grass while his wife kept him company. The two dogs, which we're told live in a home about five houses away, walked down the street and attacked the woman.

Animal Care and Control says the woman was bitten on her head and hospitalized for her injuries.

ACC took the dogs to be quarantined and says the owner of the dogs, Bruce Rudolph, will be fined. As the case remains under investigation, the dogs will be quarantined for 10 days.
