Boynton religious leaders praying for unity

BOYNTON BEACH, FL (WFLX) - Boynton Beach religious leaders will be coming together at the city commission meeting, praying for unity.

About a dozen pastors, clergymen and preachers want to show their solidarity. They say their community got a lot of negative attention the past several weeks -- including some police officers calling out sick.

They feel it's left a dark cloud hanging. "They're excited because, they know, that at least the city has men of faith -- people that are willing to bond together in unity and in harmony for the betterment of our city," said Apostle Tommy Brown.

Organizers are inviting other church members to join them Wednesday at 6 p.m.
