MARTIN COUNTY, FL (WFLX) - When students in Martin County head back to school, they might be taking a different kind of test -- a breathalyzer.
That's an idea on the table right now. Tuesday night, the school board postponded the discussion about making breathalyzer testing a districtwide policy when there's "reasonable suspicion" that a student's been drinking.
This all stems from the incident in May when a group of Jensen Beach students missed their prom. They were given breathalyzers after a champagne bottle was found on their party bus.
Those students are suing the district.
