PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (WFLX) - A suburban Boca Raton neighborhood is breathing a little easier after a large gator was captured and taken out of the community lake.
Devin Labeur lives right behind the lake and says the 9-foot gator would come and lay in his backyard every day. He says it never bothered his family, but after ducks and other wildlife started going missing, a licensed trapper was called in. "This is a community and a lot of people are concerned about children and animals, and it's understandable."
The trappers captured and tagged the gator last Thursday.
