MIAMI BEACH, FL (WFLX) - Violence in the Middle East has hit home as a South Florida synagogue is hit by hate.
Police are searching for those responsible for vandalizing a North Miami Beach temple. Residents who patrol the area say they discovered Swastikas and the word "Hamas" spray-painted on two front columns Monday morning.
Residents say they fear for their safety. "I mean, honestly, it makes you question if it's safe to walk around and wear your yarmulke," said Josh Rosenberg. "Like how safe are you in America?"
Police say they're looking for any surveillance video that may help them catch the vandals.
This all comes as the United Nations security council is pushing for an unconditional cease-fire between Israel and Hamas.
