OK Cupid purposefully set up bad matches

(WFLX) - The dating Web site "OK Cupid" purposefully set up bad matches to see how people would behave. Despite outrage on Facebook, the site was unapologetic about the experiments.

Web site administrators say they wanted to test if they could manipulate users' emotions.

In one experiment, the site told pairs they were a 90 percent match when in fact they were a 30 percent match.
