Adopted! Pet of the Week Boomer

Pet of the Week Boomer

Update: Boomer is now in his forever home, but don't forget about his friends still up for adoption at Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League.

Meet our Peggy's Pick of the Week Boomer. He's an 9-year-old German Shepherd mix who is up for adoption at the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League.

Here's a special message from Boomer:

"Well hello there, I'm Boomer! It's so nice to meet you. Meeting new people and making new friends is something I really enjoy. When I go for walks (which I really enjoy, too), I'm always happy to say hello to people passing by. And if you have a treat for me, I'll be really happy to see you! I love treats and will show you how smart I am and all the commands I know so you'll give it to me. You can ask me to sit, stay, shake, lay down and even speak! I'm mellow most of the time, and like spending time by your side just hanging out - but I'm no old fart yet. I still love to go roller blading and have a good time! I've been told I'm quite the catch, and maybe you'll think so too and take me to my new forever home?!

"I do qualify for the shelter's Senior to Senior program. If you are a senior too and adopt me, my adoption fee will be waived and all you'll pay for is my rabies tag. Senior pets do make the best pets if I say so myself!"

Peggy's Picks is sponsored by Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League in West Palm Beach, Harmony Animal Hospital in Jupiter and Community Animal Hospital in Royal Palm Beach.
