Woman charged with attacking Palm Beach County bus driver
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) - A woman has been arrested after, authorities say, she boarded a South Florida school bus and attacked the bus driver.
A spokeswoman for the Palm Beach County school district says 23-year-old Precious Jackson climbed onto the school bus Friday with 10 elementary students inside. According to a police report, she demanded to know the bus driver's name and slapped and punched the 72-year-old bus driver when he asked her to get off.
"The Palm Beach Post" reports parents heard the fight and helped pull Jackson off the bus as the driver allegedly pushed Jackson out the door.
Jackson was charged with battery on someone older than 65 and battery on an educational employee. It's unclear if she was the parent of a child on the bus.
