PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL (WFLX) - Give while you ride: That's what shoppers did recently at Bloomingdale's across the country including the one located in the Palm Beach Gardens Mall.
Shoppers were given the chance to hop on a bike and ride one to three minutes to help reach Bloomingdale's mission to cumulatively peddle 1,200 miles in their stores Wednesday to raise awareness and money for AIDS research. "Every year, we support amfAR, which is one of the premiere organizations for AIDS Research, started by Kenneth Cole many years ago. We've always had a fabulous partnership with amfAR. We gave a $75,000 donation to amfAR," said Laura Gallo, Operating Vice President and General Manager of Bloomingdale's at Palm Beach Gardens Mall.
T.A. Walker and Rachel Leigh hopped on the stationary bikes to support amfAR. The only problem was Rachel turned the microphone off, so you can see them riding, but you cannot hear them.
T.A. and Rachel, in attempt to fix Rachel's mistake, added commentary.
