WEST PALM BEACH, FL (WFLX) - A variety of topics are expected to be addressed Thursday morning during a hearing for former polo mogul John Goodman.
The hearing is scheduled to take place at 9 a.m. at the Palm Beach County Courthouse ahead of the October 6 DUI manslaughter retrial.
According to e-mails, the judge is preparing to have a jury picked in Tampa. Prosecutors would not say whether they will object to that but did say they don't plan on any more delays.
Eleven different motions will be addressed during Thursday's hearing.
Ultimately, it will be up to the judge whether jurors will be picked in another county or whether to move the trial to another place altogether.
Jurors in 2012 convicted Goodman of DUI manslaughter in the 2010 death of Scott Patrick Wilson. However, Goodman was awarded a new trial because of juror misconduct.
