PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (WFLX) - A man, accused of climbing into a sleeping woman's bed, made his first appearance in court Monday.
Investigators say Olvan Molina-Garcia entered a home in Palm Springs through a sliding glass door.
The victim said she woke up in the middle of the night in her home -- heard someone in bed next to her and assumed it was her husband. She then realized it was a stranger. "Scared me to death. I started screaming and my daughter was asleep on the couch, and she came running, and I said 'Call 911 there [is] some man in my bed,'" said Christy McElroy.
McElroy said the suspect left without hurting her.
A judge denied bond for Molina-Garcia for the break-in which happened months ago. He's charged with burglary.
McElroy said she will sleep a lot better tonight knowing he is locked up.
