BSO: Deputy accepted oral sex as favor
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (WFLX) - A deputy with the Broward County Sheriff's Office has been arrested following an investigation of an incident that happened in the summer of 2013.

BSO investigators say that on July 13 deputy Ted Arboleda made contact with a woman at a gas station in Dania Beach.

The woman, according to BSO, did not have a valid driver's license and was in possession of marijuana and an unlabeled bottle of prescription medication.

Investigators said the woman told the deputy that she was on felony probation and she offered him money not to arrest her.

The deputy didn't take the money but did return her drugs, the sheriff's office says.

Arboleda gave the woman a ride home and once there she offered to perform a sex act, BSO says.

According to the sheriff's office deputy Arboleda accepted the offer and did not make an arrest.

Arboleda was placed on administrative leave on August 19th, 2014 and he was arrested on Monday and charged with one count of of unlawful compensation for official behavior.

The deputy has been suspended without pay from the Broward County Sheriff's Office.
