Meet our Pet of the Week Raven. She's a 12-year-old mixed breed who is up for adoption at Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League.
Here's a special message from Raven:
"Being an older gal you'd probably think that sleeping all day and lounging around the house are my favorite pastimes? Although I do enjoy being leisurely, elderly is not a word my friends would use to describe me. I still love going for walks, you'd be amazed at the pace I keep. My hind legs may be a little stiff, but it sure doesn't slow me down one bit! I'm a very sweet girl, but I must admit that the older I get, the less I want to share my beloved human friends with other animals. I used to live in a house with other pets, and it was fine for many years, but now it just doesn't suit me anymore. I know there is a person out there that will want me to be their one and only, just like I want them to be my one and only. Maybe it's you?"
