Man killed after crashing car at PBIA

SUBURBAN WEST PALM BEACH, FL (WFLX) - A 76-year-old Port St. Lucie man died Tuesday morning when he crashed his car at Palm Beach International Airport, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.

At 5:10 a.m., Mark Ciocco was driving east in a 2007 Lincoln MKZ on the departure level of the airport when investigators believe he suffered a medical emergency.

PBSO said Ciocco drove onto the pedestrian median, struck a concrete pole, and a medal pedestrian handrail.

Ciocco was transported to St. Mary's Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.
