POMPANO BEACH, FL (WFLX) - A 3-year-old drowned in a pool during a family party at a Pompano Beach home Sunday.
Officers say, at some point, the toddler slipped out of the house and got into the pool.
Apparently, there was misunderstanding over who was supposed to watch the boy.
Officers say it wasn't until 5:30 in the afternoon, when the uncle was cleaning up in the backyard, he saw the child at the bottom of the pool.
