Meet this week's Peggy's Pick Darcy. She's a 10-year-old female mixed breed who is up for adoption at Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League.
Here's a special message from Darcy:
"Hey there! My name is Darcy. I'm super happy to be meeting you. Two-legged or four-legged, I'm friends with everyone! I'm a very gentle and calm soul who's very easy to get along with. I'm so caring that I'll make our walks very easy on you - I'm great on a leash! I'm in my later years so you might just assume that I'm a little pokey and not so great at keeping up, but you'd be wrong! I'll almost always walk right alongside you or maybe even in front of you! I guess that's partly because of my manners, and also because of my love for humans. Do you think my forever home could be with you? I promise that we'll be the best of friends."
